The City Where KNIGHT SEEKER Was Born And Raised.
Welcome to my web site more things are soon to come.
My name is Eric M. Cooper. I live in Trenton, New Jersey USA. I am a science fiction writer and I love telling
original stories with true meaning that adds to other people's lives. My writing style is on a realistic scale and I
hope people will enjoy this first novel. I am busy with the second novel and more info will come as the site is updated as time goes on.
Knight Seeker will change the way you view superheros, and he has a style and a story that is meant to be told.
Check out the book and you will understand.
June 19. 2005
The fans wanted to know more about me so I guess I should say a little more about myself. Why I got into appreciating science fiction.
Well it all started a long time ago in a gallaxy far far away... Oops wrong time period, but you can tell I have a thing for Star Wars,
but also I love Star Trek. Those two fictional worlds I really do love deeply, and it made me appreciate more about life and my
surroundings. My scifi quest had started with Star Trek and I had no idea what I was getting involved with but for some reason
I got hooked to it. I got to admire the personalities of the characters from all four shows; the original series, Deep Space Nine,
Voyager, and I loved The Next Generation the most, I never have not gotten into the grove of the newest show Enterprise but
I guess in time I will watch the reruns of it. I also had written a novel for Deep Space Nine before I started with Knight Seeker.
One day I will submit that book but right now Knight Seeker is my passion.
At the age of about ten when I was starting to watch the original series of Star Trek on UHF cable had finally came into my area
and every day during the summer I watched Star Wars the Empire Strikes back with my cousin Gerald Neal while we were over
our grandmother's house for the summer. It was amazing how that same movie came on everyday. Later I got to see all three
movies along with the newest ones that were just released. I like the Star Wars universe as well since it was more of the fun side
of Sci-fi and a little more emotional.
Later came something that made my heart pulse and quicken in fright. That same cusin of mine had me watch something late at
night when I was around 12 years old I think I was back then. It was Arnold and he was a down right brutal person in his role as
the Terminator. I was scared and intriqued all at the same time. When the Terminator got up out of the fire I was truely amazed
and even more frightened than I ever was before. Talk about a determined machine, that bad boy was on a mission and did not
let anything get in his way. I kind of took that to heart and learned more about determination through my sci-fi eyes. One of the lines
in the movies that stuck with me the most was, "Listen and understand. That Terminator is out there. It can't be barginned with, it cant
be reasoned with. It doesn't feel, anger, fear, or remorse, and it absolutely will not stop ever until you are dead." Man talk about
a mission statement. After seeing that movie I really thought I wanted to go into robotic engineering. But that was way too much
schooling for me.
Next thing to hit my plate was Alien. Again thanks to Gerald my cousin again had me watch this one. Now this was a little different in
my mind since it was a creature and not a machine that was trying to axe off the characters. I was scared again but after the movie
was over I was pretty cool with many of the horror movies out there. Then Aliens came along and man that was one great movie.
It was filled wtih action and comedy all at once. Also the weaponry was great to see. The dark settings in both films really set up
the proper atmosphere.
Finally the Predator. Now for some reason when I got to see the Predator movies it seemed to combine both the Terminator and
Aliens together all in one character. Once I was complete with watching that and other scifi related films I knew they were all a part
of my life. But thats me folks, just a man on a mission.
Til next time guys. Stay frosty becuase its summer time here in the U.S.
July 24, 2005
Just got back from San Diego and it was a very productive trip. I will inform interested parties informed as to the projects that will
be going on for the rest of this year. Things are looking better each passing week, and not to mention merchandise is now being
made by artists skilled in weaponry.
Aug. 14, 2005
Some questions that I have been asked during this project. And now comes is the time to answer some of your questions.
Who is Knight Seeker?
Knight Seeker is a human who has been given certain powers in a unique way that enable to protect our world.
But his human side is very interesting. Being Nygel Spinner is a task in itself. He has a very down to earth personality.
He's not really a geek but he is very diverse in his way of thinking. Knight Seeker's abilities are also cutting edge
and very formidable. I really don’t want to reveal too much because I don't want to ruin the surprises that await you
while reading the novel.
Where does Knight Seeker live?
Knight Seeker aka Nygle Spinner lives in Trenton, New Jersey. Why Trenton, New Jersey some people asked.
I say why not. I was born here and I could talk about an area I know since I have lived here all of my life. Also not to
forget Trenton is the capital city of New Jersey. Another good reason to have the home area of the character be
New Jersey is because in the comic world New Jersey really has no superhero. Well I should not say that the
Toxic Avenger is our superhero. I am not going to take anything from the creators of that character but I think it's
time for a serious change.
When is the time setting of the book?
It's actually present day so that it is more relatable to the reader. Even some current event references are touched
upon in the book. I will not try to fool around with time lines, it gets a little tricky so we will keep pressing forward
with time as it is today.
What is Knight Seeker's purpose?
Knight Seeker's aka Nygel Spinner's purpose it to do what he can to protect others when their is no hope. He will
take on the duties of a Seeker (Seeker will be revealed in the novel).
Why did I create the character?
Oh man that is a long question to answer I say. Ok lets start here, I created Knight Seeker for the purpose of bring
a much needed change to the comic and novel industry. You may ask what kind of change am I talking about.
To put it simply the superhero market is stagnating, so a new breed of superhero was needed to change the playing field.
He needed to be as real as I could make him, and in doing so his origin was taken from some of the events in my life.
So I guess you could say I am Nygel Spinner in the first few chapters. Then later it breaks off and he becomes his
own person, but I did have his personality pretty much related to mine.
When I wrote the characters in this book I tried to put myself in their shoes, even the villains as well. I kind of shocked
myself at the same time when I was thinking in an evil way. I am use to being the nice guy, but even Knight Seeker
comes to a point in the book when the reader is not sure if he is good or evil when he starts to tap into the darker
side of his personality. But to have both sides play out in your mind is only human which we all are. We all have
needs, wants, desires, and we want to feel fulfilled in what we do, and the characters in this book go through the same emotions.
Another reason why this character exists is because I was denied something I wanted in my life, and that desire
never left me. (Read about it in the novel) I thought that the desire would leave me, and I tried to block it out
and move on with my life, but the only problem was that I kept thinking about the possibilities of actually having a dream come true.
News and Reviews
REVIEW -The reviews have been great and people love how the book is rolling out.
NEWS - Knight Seeker will be at San Diego International Comic Con on Saturday night and Sunday. Knight Seeker
will be entered into the masqurade contest. I hope you guys like the new suit when you see it.
Aug. 10, 2005 Now the fun begins I guess most people will say at this point in the project since you can now order
the book from Barnes and Nobel, Borders, and other book stores. The retail store will not stock my novel yet since
I really dont have a name for myself in the novel industry as of yet. Of course through time that will change.
The San Diego Comic Con was fun and I met some very interesting contacts while I was there. A lot of people appreciated
that I hung in there with this project, and they see many positive things that will come out of it. Currently I am gearing
myself up for Dragon Con in Atlanta, Ga for early September. This year Irtiza will rejoin me as Tygron, and I will have
a Proto-type Knight Seeker suit that I will construct for the convention.
Plans are in place for a Knight Seeker trailer film that will most likely be shot in mid fall this year. This trailer will be
shorter than the first fan film that was shot for this project. The short fan film that was created back in 2004 has become
a conflicting issue with all parties involved so it can no longer be used to promote the finalization of the Knight Seeker project.
As they say things happen, but I have a dream and I will do what I can to make this project stand tall and proud.
Oct. 04, 2005
Dragon Con was awesome. Got to hang with a great crew of people, and a nice highlight of the whole thing was that
Ray Park aka Darth Maul received the book he was waiting on so long from me. This year was a whole new year for
me at Dragon Con. It felt great having my own crew with me, usally I am solo or with one other, but this year I had my
own small group. Its nice being the ring leader. But anyway if you have never been to Dragon Con I would say you
need to check it out at www.dragoncon.org It is help every Labor Day weekend down in Atlanta, GA. Anything related
to fantasy or science fiction is there. Be in store for a great time.
On other notes dealing with the Knight Seeker project, I am happyu to say I am 1/2 way done with the first rough draft of
the second story. Its a lot of work but man your gonna love it if you liked the first novel.
The newer Knight Seeker suit is being constructed in hopes that it will be ready by my first offical book signing at Oxford
Valley Mall in Bucks County PA by Oct 22nd Saturday. I hope to show up in suit and sign my books for m new fans.
Last bit of news is that we are looking forward to conducting a brand new trailer for the novel by late fall. Staff and crew
are ready.
Nov. 11, 2005
I finally got a confirmation on the date for the book signing at Oxford Valley Mall Borders it is offical now. Had a delay in
getting the books, sorry about that. It's life as they say. Okay now we have a true date and a true event at Oxford Valley Mall.
The book signing will be on -Nov 19th Saturday from 1pm-3pm. And yes the costume is just about completed so I hope
to have it for the book signing. Hope to see some of my current fans and new ones as well.
Also note I shall be in attendence at Mega-Con in Orlando Florida in Late Feb'06. First time I will have my own table at a convention.
Dec. 5, 2005
I have been rather busy lately with the second book I am writing and trying to take care of advertisements. I am 60% done
with the new novel and I hope by early next summer Volume 2 of Knight Seeker: Pieces of the game, can be released.
The book signing at Oxford Valley Mall's Border's Express went very well. Special thanks to Ernest, and Patrick for making
my first book signing a wonderful experience. People were really interested to know more about this character, and it was
a fun experience talking to the people about the character, and also signing their books. I hope to do more of these book
signings soon. Stay tuned.
Dec. 21, 2005
The day of the winter season, and it really hit. For the time being I will not be shooting the trailer for Knight Seeker as of yet
til Spring when it gets a little warmer out. Would seem a little odd to have snow in the back ground since the first novel takes
place in the late Spring season.
From what I am seeing the novel has started a little buzz around the area and people are buying the books more rapidly
than before. I guess the ball is starting to roll a little faster. I love it when people come into my place of work and have me
sign their books for them, and even getting back to me saying the story really kicks butt. I hope that the ball keeps rolling
faster because I am in the hunt to make this character stand out in the superhero sci-fi community.
The last note I will leave with is that I am in training for a newer suit that I hope will top the last ones that I have had made for me.
Also training hard in the gym and trimming the fat to have that more heroic style look that people really appreciate.
When I arrive at Mega-Con I want to look my best and that a suit that will catch a lot of attention. Hope to see some of you
guys there at Mega-Con in Orlando Florida http://www.megaconvention.com/
**To all have a blessed and happy holiday season, and see more updates at the start of the new year.**
Jan. 04, 2006
It's the start of a brand new year. Time to really get to work in getting the book out to the public. This year I will try to get
some radio time, and perhaps some television time on a morning show if possible. I am well into the second novel and
I had to fine tone a few things, but I still am looking for a mid summer release date for the second novel. I had so much
info to put out in this second book but I decided to scale it back some and save some stories and character developments
for the third book.
I have also been interviewed by a site called www.jazmaonline.com
The online interview can be read here http://www.jazmaonline.com/interviews/interviews.asp?intID=252 More to follow, take care everyone and enjoy your new year.

Feb. 2, 2006
There is only about 2 1/2 weeks left til MegaCon in Orlando Florida, and I got all of my paper work for my table out there
so I can't wait to arrive. I need the vacation time. This month I had received a letter from Barnes and Nobel to inquire if
I can get the buyers of the corporation to stock my novel in their stores, but they said my character was too new and its
a competitive market in the sci-fi community. Well you know that will not stop me, and I have been sending out promotional
letters to see if I can get any press releases. This is a long project so I know I have to suck it up and take the punches
because this project is definately worth every letter I have to write, and all the miles I have to travel. Eventually when this
train really starts moving nothing can stop it.
Also to add I have been updating the character page with trailer panels for the shooting we want to take place some time
in March. My staff is really looking forward to it. Also I have a new artist that is doing the trailer story board panels. His
name is Ian Ranney. Take a look at some of his work and I will try to have a Bio on him in a week or so.
To everyone take care, and this train is still moving.
Feb. 23, 2006
Spring has officially arrived and we are busy getting ready to put the crew together for our short film to advertise for the
first novel. The crew is excited as am I.
Also a new product will be available for the Seeker fans soon, they are custome built simple style Knight Seeker suits.
We hope they go over very well. I will be modeling these suits along with a friend in the next couple of weeks.
We hope to have more costume styles coming soon. I will keep all of you informed.
March 7, 2006
March has been great so far.
I was contacted by Stan Lee and also his staff about sending in an application to his new superhero reality tv show.
http://www.whowantstobeasuperhero.tv
I will try to see where it goes. I am not looking for anything big here, but it is something that holds my interest.
That is about all for now, and I hope to start shooting the short Web film later this month or in early April.
April 30, 2006
Another month to get things set up for the next venture into this project. We are now starting to get the filming crew together
for the short film to promote the first novel of Knight Seeker. Also I have 3 - 4 artists for this character and his world.
I am going to try to pull the team of artists together to do a comic book preview which should relate to the short film we are
about to attempt. People are giving me a lot of great feedback on what I am doing so far with this project, and I thank you
all for your awesome comments.
On to other things, I was not picked for the Stan Lee's "Who wants to be a superhero" T.V. show that will be showing on
the Scifi network in July. Its fine really I have a lot going on as it is, and I hope the show does well.
To keep you guys up todate on the 2nd book it goes well and I am up to the 20th chapter. I try to not go over 30 chapters
in any books that I write because it may appear too long winded and I know my readers like action, and not a bunch of fluff.
So I will stick to that train of thought when I write.
Things seem to be going along as they should and now the public can start ordering Knight Seeker suits from this site to
custom built or generic sizing. The first suits are made of PVC/ Lycra. The design is of a Phase One version simple
construction, but the suits makes a nice statement when your in it. There are two versions of these suits and they can be
ordered from me just contact me and I will handle your order. More information about these suits can be read on the
Products/Supporters/Links page. Dark blue regulare Lycra and gold foil Lycra suits should be ready for purchasing mid to late May.

Phase 1 Knight Seeker Suits PVC / Lycra
May 18, 2006
The short film for the first Knight Seeker novel will be underway soon. I will be directing the film, and also acting as
Nygel Spinner aka Knight Seeker. I must admit I am a little nervous about it, but at the same time I am excited about
the whole filming project. This should be breaking history since no one to my knowledge has published a novel on a
superhero and at the same time directed and played in his own filming project for a superhero gendra. This project will
truly seperate me from the creators of superhero characters.
More to follow.
June 05, 2006
The short film is coming along and we need to do one more day of shooting to finish the project. All my actors have worked
out well so far and I hope we can get that last day of shooting the film completed in a timely manner. Directing a film for my
first time is a lot of work, but my staff has been there to offer suggestions and it makes this experience much more fun
and interesting.
The second book I kind of got side tracked in while doing this film but I am back on the trail and the writing is flowing well
once more.
More news to come, and don't forget the newer costumes are for sale on the product page.
July 10, 2006
I am ready for San Diego International Comic Con and some R & R. I am still working on a good chunk of the second novel
and hope ot keep it's release on a timely manner. I have lowered the prices of the costumes for promotional purposes which
I think many people will be happy with. I am still getting very good feed back from the buyers of the first book and I am trying
to lock down on a book agent in the next 2 months so that more of the public will know about the novel, but I do appreciate
any referals people may have for me.
Oct 01,2006
Oh man this has been a busy project. I have been very busy with getting the last 1/5 of the rough draft done for the second
novel completed along with my rough draft editor Thomas Chervenak. So far Tom ha been happy with what has been writen
and we had to redo a few things to make the stroy smoother, but at the same time he has watched my steps and advised me.
I am very happy to have him do this task for the project.
We just got finished on Saturday Sept 30th of filming more of the trailer for the 1st novel. It was an awesome time for everyone.
I was suppose to have an actor play my role as Knight Seeker, but could not get a hold of him during that day so I had to put
the suit on. I thought it would be a little bit of a pain, I got kind of use to the idea of directing instead of trying to do Knight Seeker
and directing at the same time. Most of the session I did do my part as director, but then when I am in these action sequences
I can't see myself, so I had my actors take command, and they do a great job. That of course is when I have full confidence
and respect to my associates, and they sure have earned it. I hope that people are aware that my staff has deserved my time
and all that I can do for them. They see something in this project that is important, and that it will stand the test of time.
I will stil have to do seperate shootings for my actors and take care of their interviews. Also I would like to thank Malachi Matcho
for his excellent filming of the 3rd major day of shooting. It was hard to get him out to the other 2 major filming sessions,
but he came through for this third filming day. He is always professional and much is appreciated for his time along with his efforts.
I will be updating the site with newer pictures of my staff and also more information about them. I will also try to get more into
the legal side of things with shooting film on public and state property. One of the State Troopers had a little issue about us
filming in the court yard area of the State House, which to my knowledge has public access for recreation and shooting pictures,
but since we were filming he felt as though he had to step in and say something as he rolled up in his squad car. I just think
that the officer, oops sorry he kind of took offense to being called officer, eventhough he said that he did not. He stated that
he would rather be called Trooper since he earned it. Well lets say that Trooper such and such, was a little bored and wanted
to see what was going on. If he wanted to be part of the filming all he had to do was say so, but he allowed us to continue for
another ten minutes of shooting, which winded up being another hour. He never came back to our knowledge but my staff
noticed a local police car slowing down to watch the action and went about his patrolling. I guess the Trooper had kids and
started to understand the importants of the project, since it was representing New Jersey I had to keep reminding him, and
that Mayor Doug Palmer and his staff are aware of this project. But all in all that third major day of shooting by far was the
best day of all.
Dec 29, 2006
Merry Christmas to all my fans and a Happy New Year to all the people who will come after you in 2007.
I plan to be very busy with some advertising in 2007 but also to break a deal with a major publishing company, they will be
reviewing the book early next year. If they don't accept my work I will be seeking out a company that can take Knight Seeker
into their fold. I hope to keep all of you on the edge of your seats in 2007, and to have the second book ready for publication
by early summer. I have roughly four more chapters to write to complete the first draft, then the editing team goes to work.
I will be adding probably two more cities to my conventioning tours in 2007 so dont be surprised if you see me a little closer
to your own area this year. Also been training my tail off along with proper dieting, so I am looking more like my character
with each passing week. I hope all of you know hitting the gym keeps you young and looking great. Don't dare take your
health lightly, it can make a big difference in your life.
Last bit of news, I have the pleasure of informing you that I have taken on an extreamly talented artist that will be working
with the Knight Seeker project. I do not have permission to reveal his name as of yet, but I am sure all of you will be very
pleased with this artist. And lastly I hope to have the short trailer finished by spring time.
I hope all of you have an awesome New Year and stay tuned for more exciting news from Knight Seeker.
"Whatever you start, you must finish" - Knight Seeker
Feb 10, 2007
Winter is upon us and boy is it cold. The New Jersey area has been in good graces though, we have not had any major
snow storms as of yet, and the begining of winter was not that cold to start off the season. But with the outside being as
cold as it is my staff and I will be waiting for the month of March to start shooting video again in hopes to wrap up the full trailer.
Everyone has been busy though and in good health from what I hear. I do have to send a personal thanks to Paul Borowski
for all the editting work that he is doing for the trailer so far. If your notice Teaser Trailer # 3 has just been added, you will
also observe that it is just rough shooting like the rest without the full editting work. Once all the shooting is done that is when
Paul and myself will sit down to make the full complete trailer. The project is always a work in progress and from what my
public has to tell me, they are very happy with what we have done so far.
As far as the second novel installment of Knight Seeker goes, I have to delay it a touch due to the fact that the first novel I
ever written for Deep Space Nine is calling me back to it. Yeah odd isn't, it and I cant explain it. The novel was completed
before I started the Knight Seeker project, but it was un editted. Its kind of funny though when I look back at this book I
noticed the characters I had written and forgot about. I enjoyed the characters that I had created and introduced into the
world of Deep Space Nine. I just hope to get this out of my system by the end of the month so that I can finish up
Knight Seeker 2, and there is only four chapters left to complete it.
Everyone have a great month and I hope God willing, to update the site yet again in March 2007.
MARCH 15, 2007
Ah Spring is now coming to the great North-East and man its great to finally go outside to non subfreezing temperatures.
I enjoyed my time at Mega-Con in Orlando, Florida late in Feb. but wow it was way too cold to walk around in costume outside,
but me and my friends took on the weather. Then a week later at the very end of Feb. I was at New York Comic Con, and I
had a good time with friends there as well. I am starting to see that people are coming up to me more than before to ask me
how my novel is doing and they can't wait for the next book to be out on the market for Knight Seeker. I even got a picture a
friend of mine took while I was talking to Major Victory from the tv show Stan Lee's Who Wants To Be A Superhero. People
kept on asking me why I did not want to be on the show with my character as did the show's staff called me up to get me in the
process to be on the program, but Knight Seeker is far too serious for that area of entertainment. It was an appreciated offer
of course but I am looking to do better things with the character.
I can now tell all you guys that the 2nd volume to Knight Seeker is well underway to completion. I took a few weeks off with
the Deep Space Nine Book I talked about back in early Feb. I found something in there to get me focused so that I could return
to Knight Seeker 2. I never finshed the full edit to the D.S.9 novel, so I am saving it if I have to finsh the last quater and find
something in there to help me commit to Knight Seeker 3, oh yes I will try to keep the story going for my flagship character.
To all have a safe and blessed Spring 2007 also visit the site from time to time to look for the updates as they come about
once a month.
MAY 27, 2007
I know you guys have been waiting for updates for about 2 months now. I am sorry for the
delay but I have been busy with completing up Knight Seeker 2 : Crimes of Passion.
I am just finishing up the last chapter this holiday weekend, and I am very pleased with
what this second book gets involved with. There is a wider character structure where I
believe my readers will find a character in the story that they can truly relate with.
The second novel is full of action and also it should keep the reader's full attention and
very interested in seeing what happens next after each page is turned. The first book of
Knight Seeker was noted as being a true page turner, but this second novel will make
the reader want to just go through the book in two days without any attempts in putting
it down. Keep in mind though that Knight Seeker 2 : Crimes of Passion, is longer than
the frist novel. There is more involved and an emotional rollercoaster for most of the characters.
I am giving the world a new set of superheros that I feel as though should inspire a large
group of people to get back into reading even if your not a scifi or superhero fan I think
you will look past that since its a good story line, and you will be equally entertain.
Besides its the characters and personalities that make the story not the superpowers they posses.
I follow George Lucus's example when he states that you can have all the big budget special
effects in a movie and if it doesn't have a good story line or well developed characters applied
to it, your production will not be legendary. Its a very true teaching, and that is what I follow.
I don't want to bore the reader with a bunch of fluff I want to give them the meat, and to have
the books always moving to where you become a part of the action itself.
I have been collecting my team of artists for the past year and I am happy to say I will have
chapter art for different sections of Knight Seeker 2. I also have three editors on staff for this
second book. My rough draft editor is Thomas J. Chervenak. The main editor from the first
Knight Seeker novel Tim Grundmann is coming back on this project. People have really enjoyed
the awesome job Tim has done in bringing the feel of New York City to the reader since he
does live there which made it a pleasure for him give it that Big Apple touch. The third editor
which came as a surprise to me is my cousin Gerald Neal. Gerald has a masters in education
and enjoyed the first novel so much he wanted to sit on the staff for Knight Seeker 2. This is
my team of awesome people to work with, and the artists will be known in the next coming
months before the second novel is released in the market place.
The plan that most of my readers want me to do is to go on to t.v. and radio programming to
promote both books since they said if the first novel was just the scratch of the surface of what
I can do then I need to really push for national coverage on this project. I will let all of you
know that I will hope to obtain a movie right for the first novel as many of you were wishing for.
Let see if this wish comes true for all of us who have been captured by the world of Knight Seeker.
New Jersey finally has a mainstream style superhero, he just has be known about, that ladies
and gentlemen is my job. More to come soon.
Eric Cooper
June 30, 2007 (Summer is Here)
The second book is completed on my end and the editors will be busy for the next couple
of months with the story I weaved for them to read. One editor will handle the full rough draft.
The second editor will work on the locations that the book is set in, and the last editor will make
sure it all comes together giving his own touches to the novel.
Now next comes the artists, there will be 5-7 artists on the staff for this second novel. I will be
firming up with the ones who wish to work on the chapter art and novel cover.
I am very pleased with the work that is coming together so far, and this project is truly blessed.
I just hope that is catches the eyes of movie producers since most of my readers keep telling me
to look for movie rights, and trust me my table is open. For now we will focus on the novels
and see what comes along.
Keep hitting up this site for news about New Jersey's own Superhero unlike any other in the
SciFi and Comic Book realm.
July 14, 2007
I am getting geared up for San Diego International Comic Convention which is less than 2 weeks
away.
A new Knight Seeker suit is being worked on by Tom Sirkot of Mount Holly, NJ. This professional
costume designer has been in the business of creating dance wear for a number of years and is
surprisingly young.
I learned this week that I should be working with out of the ordinary artists that have a style all
their own. When someone looks at their artwork they should have an idea who drew it by
their craft. I enjoy working with people that don't create text book type art. Knight Seeker
and his world is not typical, so the artwork should reflect the same. I am very fortunate to get
that understanding this early before I assign the artists I would like to work with on Book 2's
chapter artwork. I want to keep to what I feel is right for the world of the knight. Also I would
like to welcome both Rodney Jacobsen, and Kyle Kirkner to the artist team of Knight Seeker.
Both of these people are a pleasure to chat with and they are both busy with their crafts.
They may come from different art media back grounds as do the rest of my artists. But they
all are there to add more to the world of Knight Seeker, and I thank them for that.
See you guys in San Diego, and yah I will make sure new pictures shall follow when I get
back from the west coast.
August 20, 2007
I have been staying steady as always. I just got back about a week ago
from Wizard's Chicago Comic Convention, and I had a nice time.
San Diego was great to, but now getting my self all ready for Dragon Con
one of the best places I like to go every year. It's more like a family reunion.
Knight Seeker's new suit I am wearing is aobut 80% complete,
Tom Sirkot my costume maker is still in the process of adding the extra
details for the suit, but many people loved what he has done so far with
the creation. It should be fully ready for Dragon Con.
Lastly I am going through the artists that will be assigned to
Knight Seeker 2 Crimes of Passion. They are very excited to work on
this and I hope to give the new and old fans of Knight Seeker something
new to just drop your jaw and say, "More Please!"
Till next update guys keep busy and stay safe these last days of summer.
September 10, 2007
I have done a lot of traveling this summer with the conventions. I have
been to San Diego Comic Con, Philly, and Chicago Wizard Con,
Anthro Con in Pitts, Baltimore Con, and last but not least Dragon Con
in Atlanta, GA. I have never done this much traveling in one season,
and I am so glad that I did. I have found a band of artists to help with
the chapter work for Knight Seeker 2. I will be updating the site all this
week as appreication to the people who have come on board my staff,
and also my current staff. All who are a part of this deserve a big pat
on the shoulder from me. Things are really starting to take place,
and this project should set a new standard in the scifi-superhero realm.
Keep up to date all through out the week as this will upgrade.
October 06, 2007
I am happy to say that the artists that are working on
Knight Seeker II : Crimes of Passion are off and running with
their assignments, so it gives me time to work on KS III. I am
hoping to have a release of KS 2 by late Jan. 2008.
Also I will be attending New York Comic Con. in April 2008 as Knight Seeker.com aka
Seeker Entertainment. I will have two of my artists and perhaps one of my models/actors
with me at this event in the Small Press Area. This is my first time attending NY Comic Con
with a booth, so this will be very interesting. The question will be, how many books to bring
of both Knight Seeker 1 and 2?
Oct. 14, 2007
I just returned last night from an interesting gathering of comic book writers and editors.
The gathering was well put together by some of the top guys in the industry. I was invited
to this event by the head speaker and at this time I wish not to reveal his name since he
is looking into my work and I want to give him a fair shot at Knight Seeker before I have
any other interested parties dive into my world.
The only thing that I found a miss with last night was that for this day and age I feel as
though there are not enough ethnic diverse characters in the comic book world. And if
there are a few here and there they are not original hardly at all. Most of the ones that
are Black American, Hispanic, Indian, Chinese, ect. they are mainly constructed with
hand-me-down powers from orignal Caucasian characters. I am not saying that it's wrong
for these characters to be created, but not as much pride comes from it I feel. Can't the
industry develop original brand new characters, with original names instead of doing the
hand-me-down old clothing routine? Also to the other ethnic characters that are bestowed
the honor of being in the comic world why are most of them without any real destructive
power like the original superheros that have stood as icons in our society? I believe if
the characters were created well they could support their own titles, and not be a
hand-me-down comic book.
That is what brings me to my world of Knight Seeker or aka Seeker Entertainment. It is
my mission to make sure that the characters in the world that I create are as original as
I can make them, but also ones that are full of feeling and value. I don't want the typical
superhero or typical side kick. Each character should be unique and of different races.
We live in an ever changing world so it's my job to do the best that I can for my readers.
It's so odd yet interesting when I am emailed from different parts of the world and people
thank me for developing a character that changed their lives. Even in the most depressing
time of their life they open up that first book of Knight Seeker and read it again and again.
Some pople even cry once they know more about this character and consider him a blessing
in their lives they also feel this character is destined for greatness. I am not going to go too
far into it here, perhaps on a panel at a convention at some point. But to all that visit my
site know this, Knight Seeker and his world will have a strong foundation, and I will make
sure that the characters will alway not just hit you emotionally but they will also speak to
your inner soul. That is what seperates my work from any other superheros in the industry.
Once you read the first novel I believe you will understand, because I believe in what I have
my hands on as do the people that are a part of my projects.
Happy New Year 2008!!!
Jan. 27, 2008
This will be the last update for this month. There is a lot going on with Knight Seeker
and I am excited for the character and also for the staff that has been a blessing to this
project. The editor which we have decided to stay with just one for Knight Seeker 2 and
that person is Chervenak J. Thomas. He has been extreamly awesome in his work and
always there to make sure that the book flows properly, and personally he is a great
family man and a great friend. My art staff have been handing in some great works of art.
Each one has a different prospective of Knight Seeker, but their final product represents
the characters well. A few of them have fallen off the track from the original people I
started with for chapter art work, but that sure was not stopping this project. Some
were just not ready for this novel, and I will admit this project will weed people out
and I only want the guys that want to hang in there and see this through because its all
about heart. If their heart is into it they will do what it takes to complete the work.
So the guys that stayed with me have heart and I will put them on my staff any day of
the week.
The artist role call is as follows;
Rodney Jacobsen
RODNEY's Newest Pictures

who has become my lead artist for Knight Seeker illustrations.
I still can't believe
I have such a wonderful person to work with not to forget also his wife
Nikki that does
some of his coloring. Together this couple is a powerful team and keeps
this project moving.
Dan Demille
is a fun person to work with and he loves to shoot from the hip and doesn't
mess around.
He loves to draw women and has great shading ability.
Adam Hicks
is the youngest artist I have on my staff. This guy has a
great view of things in an anime form.
I am very impressed by his work for Knight Seeker 2.
He is also a very humble human being
which is a pleasure to work with. You will normally see Adam at
Wizard World convention in Chicago, IL.
where I will be again this year, and we may share a table
in the artist alley.
Alan Dyson
is an insane person when he has a pencil in his hand.
The man will get down to the
most minute detail in what he is drawing.
He is a very dedicated person to his craft,
and trust me anyone looking at his work will say, "My goodness you
even got that in there,"
like I said he is detail oriented. He has been great to work with
through this project.
Antonio Clark
is the fastest quick draw person around that I have seen.
But he can also do detailed work
and take his time. He also has an aura that attracts
groups of people to watch him do work for
customers at comic conventions. The man is talented and
I am happy to put him on this project,
and he has been true to his word for getting work done.
Bernard Schmalzried
is a comic book illustrator for his own titles, but he wanted to work
with Knight Seeker also, and I am thankful for it.
This artist enjoys doing research on time periods,
and making the scenes come alive with what he draws for the reader.
Blair Smith
is a professional cover artist. He also likes the idea of working
on something new that is why
he joined Knight Seeker, but he also seen the value of what
I have deidcated my time to. He loves to work on large paintings,
and likes going to comic book conventions.
Neill Brengettsey
is a professional illustrator. He has worked for comic,
and product productions.
He is a hard working and gets projects out on time.
Richard Zak
is a superhero artist and has a few of his own chacters in the market.
He loves to take anything given to him
and add his own twist to them.
He is also a fellow costumer and goes to the comic book conventions
just as much as I do. He is also part of the Jedi cosplayer group of New York.
He is fun to work with and loves to make people laugh.
Ryan Crissey
is a Marvel Style artist. He has a way of having the
pictures jump out at you. Ryan is also a fellow costumer
and goes to the major comic book conventions.
Scott Clark
This artist is very, very scifi base in his artwork.
He sees the world with a very different eye than
most artists in the industry. Scott is a professional illustrator and
works with magazines around the country. He has a spirituality
in his work that carries him in a proper and professional manner.
Shawn Alleyne
is an illustrator that has a hand at drawing Hard Action pictures. The kind
of pictures that will leave you hanging on the edge of your seat,
and you will have you begging for more. He is very down to earth
and is quite the cook. Sorry ladies he's married.
Shawn is a very out going person and likes working on community projects.
Jan. 14, 2008
Just added the newest model to the staff for our clothing line
Mariusz Kolosek which can be reviewed
on the characters and staff page.
Another tid-bit which is pretty awesome, Tom Sirkot,
and I plan to penetrate the Superhero market by 1%.
That is our goal ladies and gentlemen.
Yes Seeker Entertainment along with Drama In Motion
(Dot) Biz are making this our mission statement.
Keep up to date on our progress in this task.
Jan. 6, 2008
Catching up to the new year and Knight Seeker 2 Crimes Of Passion
is near completion with artwork and editting.
I can't thank my staff enough and they have been
awesome through this whole process.
As for me I am up to the 5th chapter in Knight Seeker vol.3 Old Debts. |
